We like where we live, and we’d like to keep it that way. Our Environmental Projects are all about giving back to the place that gives us so much — the landscapes we explore, the trails we run, and the town we call home.
What we do
We work with local communities to provide time, resources and a few pairs of muddy hands. From bracken bashing to promote native species to litter picking, we get involved wherever we can make a difference.
- Community clean-ups – Regular litter picks and maintenance days around Ulverston and the South Lakes.
- Local partnerships – Working with organisations such as Cumbria Woodlands to keep our environment in good condition.
- Education & awareness – Sharing simple ways to live, move and shop a little more sustainably.
- Hands-on help – When a local project needs extra people, we show up — boots, gloves and all.
Who runs it?
Our environmental efforts are headed up by James — think of him as our own Greta, just way more muscley and powered by milk instead of lattes.
How to get involved
If you’d like to lend a hand, have an idea for a local project, or want to collaborate, get in touch with James. He’s always keen to hear from people who care about keeping the Lakes looking their best.
